Airport security is a factor which has become more and more important in recent years, including in connection with the carriage of freight, and one which also has economic implications for all parties involved in the "secure supply chain".
Allgaier has been granted Regulated Agent status by the Federal Aviation Office (LBA) and is therefore a reliable link in this chain. All the staff working in our own security zones are vetted as required under the German Aviation Security Act (LuftSiG) and are trained to carry out responsible logistics jobs in the packaging, warehousing, order picking and dispatch sections.
Relatively large items, such as machines or plant components, can be screened in the security zone by approved ETD systems (explosive trace detection technology) and inspected by aviation security staff before being passed and allowed into the supply chain. This service makes it possible for companies to send their products to airlines without having to conduct their own lengthy security procedures.
Our safety inspectors, who are also accredited LBA instructors for air freight security training courses (Regulation (EU) 185/2010 section 126.96.36.199), will guarantee that your assignments are processed in compliance with the current laws and directives.
